Public Affairs + Advocacy
Public affairs and advocacy field programs that move people
Engage. Influence. Mobilize.
High-stakes public issues are won by people who show up informed. VFO builds and runs field programs that educate, identify supporters, mobilize them and report what the field is really saying.
Public Affairs + Advocacy
Public opinion has an address.
Advocacy organizations and public affairs teams need more than messaging. They need to know who supports them, who is persuadable, what the opposition is saying at the door and how to help supporters participate — at the scale the issue demands.
What VFO does
What VFO manages, performs and documents.
Door-to-door education
Trained canvassers sharing accurate information about the issue, measure or policy.
Supporter identification
Finding and recording supporters, persuadable residents and opponents.
Mobilization
Helping supporters take part — signing petitions, attending public meetings, voting — voluntarily and in their own words.
Coalition field support
Field capacity for coalitions and allied organizations working on the same issue.
Field intelligence
What residents raise unprompted, what moves them and where — reported to your team.
Verified reporting
Supervised field work with data checks and fraud-detection controls.
What the field tells you
Field reporting built for advocacy decisions.
An advocacy program is only as useful as what it learns. VFO reports the field in categories your team can act on, kept separate so activity never passes for support.

Questions
Public Affairs + Advocacy: common questions.
What is an advocacy field program?
An advocacy field program uses trained field teams to educate residents about an issue, identify supporters and help them participate — through door-to-door conversations, supporter mobilization and field reporting.
Does VFO lobby officials?
No. VFO runs field operations — education, supporter identification, mobilization and reporting. It does not lobby or represent clients before public officials.
Can VFO help supporters attend a public meeting?
VFO can inform supporters about public meetings and invite them to take part. Participation is voluntary, and residents speak in their own words. VFO never scripts testimony or controls what anyone says.
